Hell the Bad News

The first thing you need to know is that you are a sinner. It does not matter who you are, where you live, the race to which you belong, or the religion you believe or practice. You must understand that you are a sinner in the sight of the only true God; who is the Creator of all things.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). This makes you an enemy of God because He is Holy and cannot stand sin.

Since you are a sinner, you are under the divine condemnation, and deserve to go to hell, which is an awful place, where the souls of sinners go after death. There, you will wait for the Judgement Day, on which you will appear before the throne of God to be judged and condemned and cast into the lake of fire; where you will be tormented for eternity. What a horrible end!

Heaven the Good News

The Good News is that you can be forgiven and reconciled to God, and escape eternal damnation!  You can be saved!

By repenting of your sins, and believing in the Gospel of the Grace of God, you will be saved.

What is the Gospel? It is the Good News that God, the Creator of all things, in the fullness of time, in His great love, sent His only Begotten Son into the world to die for our sins and to rise from the dead for our justification. The name of the Son of God who saves is called Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha-Mashiach).

Jesus was born in the land of Israel; in Bethlehem, in the city of David, about two thousand years ago, under the Roman Emperor called Caesar Augustus. The name of His mother was Mary. She was a virgin when she conceived Jesus in that she became pregnant by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus started to preach in the synagogues and in the marketplaces, and also along the sea of Galilee. His message was: "Repent and believe in the Gospel". Jesus lived a sinless life, for He did no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. But in spite of His innocence, some Scribes, Pharisees, chief priests, and many others hated and persecuted Him.

After about three years of ministry, Jesus was betrayed by one of His disciples called Judas, who sold Him to the priests for thirty pieces of silver. They arrested Him and brought Him to the Sanhedrin, and condemned Him to death. Then they handed Him over to Pontius Pilate, the governor of Judea, who gave sentence that it should be as the people there required; that is - that He should be crucified.

So, Jesus was publicly crucified and died, His dead body was put in a tomb, but on the third day, God raised Him from the dead. Jesus appeared to His disciples alive in His body, and showed Himself also to many others as a witness to His resurrection. After forty days, He ascended to heaven at the right hand of the Father.

To be saved from the just condemnation to hell, you must repent of your sins and believe in Jesus Christ in order to have eternal life with Him in heaven.

Because Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth and the life, nobody can come to God the Father except though Jesus the Messiah. There is no other name under heaven given among men, that we can be saved. Through His name, anyone who repents and believes in Him receives eternal life and remission of sins.

When you repent of your sins and believe in Him, you will be born again. In other words, you will have a spiritual birth through which you will become a new creature. The old things will pass away and all will become new. You will be forgiven, saved, and reconciled to God. And you will have the assurance of forgiveness of your sins; if you do not turn back to the things of before, but continue to trust and obey Him. When you die as a true repentant believer and follower of Jesus Christ, you will go to heaven, you will eternally be with the Lord Jesus.

So I exhort you to humble yourself before God, repenting of your sins, confessing them to Him, and asking Him to have mercy on you. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins; the atoning death and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah (Yeshua Ha-Mashiach) brings salvation for you. Through His blood, His death, and His resurrection – you can be saved in faith in Him, by His grace.

Only by the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross can your transgression against God be forgiven.

Don’t make light of this message; don’t refuse it. Remember, that without faith and repentance to Jesus Christ, you are lost and an enemy of God on your way to hell. Only by believing in Jesus Christ can you be saved. If you suddenly died in your sins, you would go to hell,  lost and seperated eternally from your creator God.

Don’t harden your heart; the Lord is speaking to you.
